Terms of Use

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Maxsam ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. Maxsam connects customers who need vehicle repair services with independent mobile mechanics.

2. Who can use Maxsam

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. Mobile mechanics must hold valid identification, applicable licenses or certifications, and proof of insurance where required by law.

3. The marketplace

Maxsam is a marketplace that facilitates connections between customers and independent mobile mechanics. Mechanics are independent contractors, not employees of Maxsam. Maxsam does not perform repair services and is not a party to the service agreement between a customer and a mechanic.

4. Payments & fees

Customers pay for services through the Platform. Maxsam collects a platform fee from mechanics on each completed job, as described on our Pricing page. Fees are subject to change with reasonable notice.

5. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellation terms vary by booking and are shown before you confirm a service. Refunds for incomplete or unsatisfactory work are handled case-by-case through our support team.

6. Conduct

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully. Maxsam may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or endanger the safety of other users.

7. Limitation of liability

Maxsam is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maxsam is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or services booked through it.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
